📢 Important Announcement: SPT Became a 100% SUMITOMO PRECISION-Owned Company

We are pleased to announce that effective March 31, 2024, SPP Technologies Co. Ltd. (formerly a joint venture between Sumitomo Precision Products and SPTS) has undergone a significant transformation to being a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Precision Products Co., Ltd (Sumitomo Precision). As part of this change, Sumitomo Precision has acquired all SPT shares previously held by SPTS, solidifying SPT’s position within the Sumitomo Precision family.

Background:
SPT was originally established in 2011 as a joint venture between Sumitomo Precision Products Co., Ltd. (Sumitomo Precision) and SPTS Technologies Ltd. (SPTS).
Over the years, SPT has been a key player in the development, manufacturing, and sales of MEMS and semiconductor-related process equipment.
However, considering recent shifts in the business landscape, both parties have mutually agreed to dissolve their capital relationship.

Impact and Future Direction:
SPT will continue its commitment to manufacturing and selling existing product lines.
The scope of sales, previously limited to Japan, will now expand globally.
We are dedicated to enhancing our offerings, exploring new product development, and evolving into an even more compelling company.
